Manufactured of a high alumina mullite/cordierite mixture that yields a smooth, durable surface with good thermal shock resistance for stacking ware in your kiln. Recommended for all temperatures up to cone 11. Kiln shelves also make excellent pizza stones!
15.5" (394 mm) diameter, 1/2" (16 mm) thick. 
This is the recommended size for 8-sided top-loading kilns like Euclid's R-85.
