Learn to Make with Clay (Youth & Adult)

Service Description

Looking for a fun way to connect with your kid (ages 10 and up)? This four-week class is all about creativity, laughter, and making memories—together. Whether you're brand new to clay or just looking to try something new, we’ll guide you both through a playful and hands-on pottery journey. Each week introduces a new technique, giving you both the chance to experiment, get a little messy, and take home some awesome handmade pieces. Class Outline 🖐 Session 1 – Pinch Pots & Playful Sculptures Start your pottery adventure with classic pinch pots and whimsical sculpting. No pressure, just fun! 📏 Session 2 – Slab Building & Decorating Learn how to roll and shape clay into plates or platters, then decorate your work (and some of your pieces from last week). 🎡 Session 3 – Try the Pottery Wheel Get your hands on the wheel! It might get messy, but it’s always a blast. 🎨 Session 4 – Glazing Day! Time to bring your creations to life with colour and glaze. Make your pieces pop and get them ready for their final firing. All materials are provided—just bring comfy clothes, a willingness to try new things, and your favorite creative sidekick. Let’s make some pottery and even more memories!
